This session is for all campus leaders new to their role, including new principals, assistant principals, administrative interns, etc. Attendees will receive information about the support networks and resources that Denton ISD provides to help ensure success.
This session is designed to deepen elementary principals’ understanding of the four Research-Based Instructional Strategies (RBIS) for Language Arts: Foundational Skills, Text Complexity, Knowledge Coherence, and Text-Based Responses. Participants will examine each strategy, explore what effective implementation looks like in classrooms, and discuss key look-fors during instructional walkthroughs and observations.
