This session will provide elementary administrators with an overview of the supports the teaching and learning department has developed to ensure all teachers—from K to 5th grade—are equipped for a strong start. Participants will gain clarity around district expectations, including what’s “tight” and what’s “loose” in elementary instruction and how consistent guidance can promote effective teaching and learning across campuses. We’ll explore new tools and resources created to provide consistency in every classroom.
This session will help elementary administrators understand how the Math Research-Based Instructional Strategies (RBIS) from TEA connect to the lesson design elements learned in C4. Participants will explore practical ways to support teachers in using these strategies. Additionally, we will discuss how the Math RBIS will be integrated into next year's math professional development for teachers, ensuring a consistent and effective approach to math instruction.
This is a required session for all campus principals who have a UNT Assistant Principal Resident assigned to their campus. We will go over the grant guidelines, district expectations, and feedback from the 24-25 residents.
This session is designed for campus leaders at non-Priority Campuses who want to learn more about Leverage Leadership 2.0 and the work Priority Campuses will pursue this summer and next school year.
